OEM · ODM · CO-DEVELOPMENT

Three ways in. One way forward.

Bring drawings or samples, adapt an existing design for your brand, or develop a new product with us. Meichun supports each route as your manufacturing partner, with original products that can give your brand a starting point in the market.

THREE ROUTES

Find your project's starting point.

Exclusivity, territory, materials, tooling, intellectual property and production conditions are agreed in writing for each project.

The Meichun character leans forward to push a wooden cart carrying a cabinet prototype, with drawings and material swatches on the workbench behind.

You may bring drawings, choose an existing product or come with a new idea. The starting point changes; the care taken with requirements, samples and version control remains the same.

OEM

Build from drawings or samples

Review the structure, confirm materials, make samples and organise production in line with the NDA and agreed limits on disclosure.

Suitable for: Teams with a mature design, drawings or a physical sample seeking a reliable manufacturing partner.

  1. What you bring

Drawings, samples, specifications or information explaining the structure, together with the target market, quantities, materials, timing and applicable requirements.

  2. Work together

We review your information and manufacturing requirements with you, develop the material choices and key structural details, then establish the production version through sample reviews and documented changes.

  3. What takes shape

A product version confirmed by both parties, with its materials and functions defined, sample findings recorded, packaging and delivery requirements established, and any remaining points identified for discussion.

02

ODM

Select and adapt an original design

Start with an existing Meichun product, adapt its dimensions, materials, configuration and branding, then verify the sample.

Suitable for: Brands seeking a shorter development cycle and a product range for private label or their sales channels.

  1. What you bring

Your chosen collection, target market and channels, the dimensions, materials and configurations you'd like to change, branding and planned quantities.

  2. Work together

We first establish with you which design features to retain and where changes are possible. We then develop the adapted design and review colour swatches and samples together.

  3. What takes shape

A confirmed design suited to your brand and market, with production requirements established through specifications, colour swatches and sample reviews.

03

CO-DEVELOPMENT

Develop a new product together

Begin with the people, spaces and business goals the product is intended to serve. Then develop the concept and structure, test samples and prepare for production together.

Suitable for: Teams with a clear market opportunity that needs design and manufacturing input from the start.

  1. What you bring

Target users, spatial needs, market and channels, price direction, product opportunity, timing and intellectual property boundaries.

  2. Work together

Define the product brief together, then select concepts, develop structure and materials, verify samples and prepare for production, resolving risks at each stage.

  3. What takes shape

A product direction confirmed by both parties and a developed version ready for the next stage of production planning. Exclusivity, territory, tooling and intellectual property are agreed separately in writing.

A SHARED DISCIPLINE

Different starting points. A shared path.

The depth of collaboration shapes the design work and pace of the project. Every route receives the same attention to confidentiality, sample review and control of the production version.

  1. STEP 01

    Start with what you know

Start with existing drawings, samples, references or a product idea. Together, we distinguish what is already settled from what still needs to be explored and tested.

  2. STEP 02

Find the right way to work together

A developed design with drawings suits OEM; an existing product to adapt suits ODM; a new product direction suits co-development.

  3. STEP 03

Resolve the key questions with a sample

Confirm structure, materials, functions and assembly through samples before taking the concept into production.

  4. STEP 04

One approved version, through to delivery

Production, packaging, installation and export coordination all follow the same approved version.

PROJECT STARTING POINT

Start with what you have.

Bring the information you have and the direction you want to take. Together, we'll work through the product, materials, configurations and delivery plan.

An idea, a reference image or a sample is enough to begin. We can develop the four parts of the brief as the project progresses.

01

Product direction

A product, sketch, drawing, sample or problem you want to solve

02

Market and channels

Target territory, customer type, price range and brand positioning

03

What to configure

Dimensions, quantities, materials, functions, colours and packaging requirements

04

Project essentials

Timing, samples, certification, NDAs, exclusivity and delivery scope

The Meichun character puts a closed project file box into a wooden cabinet, with an open sample bench behind.

CONFIDENTIALITY BY DEFAULT

Your project, kept in confidence.

Customer names, logos, drawings, samples, orders, project data and unpublished products stay private without written permission. When sharing a collaboration method, we use anonymous examples by default.

  • Project-specific NDAs available
  • Customer names and logos remain private without permission
  • Production CAD files and high-detail models are not offered for public download
  • Exclusivity and territory follow the written agreement
